Fall Equinox: A Mindfulness Celebration with AITW

Join us for a 90-minute celebration of the Fall Equinox, a sacred moment of balance between light and darkness.

The Fall Equinox marks a turning point in the Earth’s rhythm, a time when day and night stand in perfect harmony just before the longer nights of Winter begin. Honored for millennia by earth-based cultures, this seasonal threshold invites reflection, gratitude, and reverence for the abundance that the Earth has provided throughout the year.

As the light begins to wane, the Earth prepares to rest. The vibrant energy of Summer begins to soften, and nature gradually releases what is no longer needed. In this season of harvest, we are invited to pause and gather the fruits of our own inner growth. It is a time to honor what has come to fruition and to begin the gentle descent inward for rest, renewal, and deeper wisdom.

Through nature-based mindfulness practices, we will attune our hearts, minds, and bodies to the rhythms of this sacred transition. We will honor the turning of the wheel by exploring the elements of Earth, Fire, Water, and Air, and their presence both within us and all around us. We will offer gratitude for the Earth’s generous gifts and engage in Loving Kindness (Metta) practice to share our blessings and prayers. These offerings will be extended to the Earth, and we will receive her quiet strength in return.

Together, we will gather in community to witness this moment of balance, to give thanks, to release, and to enter the season of introspection with open hearts and grounded presence.
